While Traceroute is a handy tool in diagnosing network issues, it helps to be able to do a traceroute from a second source. This tool performs a traceroute directly from the TekNews server. It is also much more accurate than the default Windows "tracert" tool.

The DNS system is used to turn domain names into IPs, and IPs into hostnames. This tool does a more detailed query and will return more information than a standard DNS lookup.
